Our Client

Scope: 

  • As the sub-contractor for the CONNECTIVE Agency and only African-American expert agency, EJP helped to ensure the client’s key target audience was strategically targeted across social media and traditional media. EJP served in this capacity while the CONNECTIVE Agency led the rebrand and internal comms efforts. In partnership with the lead firm, we rebranded the agency into “DHA,” (formerly Dallas Housing Authority), as well as their “Opportunity Rising Foundation,” formerly Phoenix Foundation. 

Strategies Implemented:

  • Media strategies (general market and multicultural) for proactive and reactive public and government awareness. 
  • Social media strategy to launched all of the DHA and Opportunity Rising social media channels 
  • Co-managed issues comms strategy, which included addressing resident complaints to the media.
  • Media and message-trained all executives and board members. 
  • Multicultural & local African-American market expert. 

Impact:

  • Garnered more than 2,000,100 media impressions from the top DFW general market and multicultural media. 
  • Launched the current DHA and Opportunity Rising social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. 
  • Conducted ten in-person media training sessions for DHA’s leadership, Board members, President of the Board, and 2019 Dallas Mayoral candidate.)
